- We use AI services (Claude API via OpenRouter, Whisper) to transcribe and organize your rambles. They process your audio temporarily but don't store it.
- We delete your audio files after successful transcription. You can download from Telegram if you want to keep them.
- We don't sell your data. We don't share it publicly. It's yours.
- Payment processing is handled by Polar.sh. They see your billing info, not us.
- You can export or delete your data anytime.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Account Information: Email address, Telegram ID
- Voice Notes: Audio files you send via Telegram
- Billing Information: Handled by Polar.sh (our payment processor). We receive confirmation of payment status but not your credit card details.
Information We Generate
- Transcripts: Text transcriptions of your voice notes
- Organized Sections: Structured versions of your transcripts with detected topics and tags
- Usage Data: Session count, audio duration, subscription tier
2. How We Use Your Information
- Process your voice notes into transcripts and organized sections
- Provide authentication via magic links sent to your email
- Manage your subscription and usage limits
- Send you notifications when your rambles are ready (via Telegram)
- Improve our service and fix bugs
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Ramble:
- OpenRouter/Anthropic Claude: Processes your transcripts to create organized sections. Audio content is processed temporarily and not stored by them.
- OpenRouter/Whisper: Transcribes your audio files. Audio is processed temporarily and not stored.

- Telegram: You send voice notes through Telegram. See their privacy policy at telegram.org/privacy
- Railway: Hosts our servers and database (US-based infrastructure)
4. Data Storage and Retention
- Audio Files: Deleted automatically after successful transcription
- Transcripts and Sections: Stored indefinitely while your account is active
- Account Data: Stored while your account exists
- Deleted Accounts: When you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed after a confirmation process
5. Data Location
Your data is stored on servers in the United States (Railway infrastructure). By using Ramble, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in the US.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: View all your data through the Ramble app
- Export: Download your transcripts and sessions as markdown files
- Delete: Permanently delete your account and all associated data
- Correct: Update your email address

7. Data Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, including:
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS)
- Secure authentication via magic links
- Access controls on our database
- Regular security updates
However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
Ramble is intended for users 18 years and older. Minors may use the service with parental consent. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 without verified parental consent.
9. International Users
If you are accessing Ramble from outside the United States, please be aware that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. By using our service, you consent to this transfer.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the Ramble app. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
